Hotel is good. Surroundings are scary, too many informal business in the street. Not safe to walk around outside of the hotel or shopping mall.
Great location, and the location next to the mall put you minutes away from very good restaurants.
Fiesta Americana is located in a very strategic location, within a mall in which you cand find a wide variety of options for food or any kind of stores.
The hotel is attached to a mall, which makes it really convenient to food (several options to choose from). The staff is friendly and it’s nice they also speak English. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a buffet for breakfast which included some items such as chilaquiles, pork stew, pastries, cereals, eggs, fruits, etc. so plenty of options. Some of the areas outside of the mall didn’t seem safe, but I’m sure it would have been ok during the day. Overall it was a nice stay.
It’s great having a good hotel and shopping mall together. It's not cheap, but they have many facilities for their guests. The gym is located at the roof and there's a nice view from there. Breakfast were actually good and it's possible to get local dishes. Service and staff were very kind and they offer solutions to anything you can need. It's an advantage having the shopping mall downstairs, because there are more chances to get different foods, go to the cinema or shopping.
Fiesta Americana Toreo is a great hotel. Rooms are very well appointed with plush beds. Bed mattress in our room was topped with a 100% goose feather mattress topper added for extra comfort. Ceiling-to-floor windows add a view of the city and is specially enjoyable during nights. Courtains close well, so you block out light for a good night sleep. Hotel is connected to a large shopping mall (Plaza Toreo) so shopping and eateries are within walking distance. The only minus about hotel location is the lack of good signage inside the parking garage. This parking space is paid and is shared with the shopping mall, making arrival somewhat difficult. Breakfast bufet is awesome. One of the best in all of Satélite Area of CDMX. It offers all the basics with all the trimmings, like scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt and great fresh coffee. For the adventurous taste, breakfast also has chilaquiles, cerdo en salsa verde, res en salsa roja, and freshly ready-made hot cakes. Pan dulce is top notch. A well-attended grill chef will make eggs to your taste and other delicacies. Swimming pool is heated and covered for Prime Fiesta members. Service staff is super efficient. One bell hopper is worth mentioning! His name is Lino and he will anticipate your needs, will be courteous and smiling. Lino knows well the area, making him a great Concierge!
The hotel is very comfortable. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The location is little crowded and has a huge traffic jam. One comment they need to have more English speakers in the facility
Nice place to stay in Mexico City , especially for the business trip , it closed to the exhibition hall.
